This depends entirely on which Fundo shower system you want to install. Each Fundo shower system is equipped with either a removable odour trap or a hair catcher.

I have a space that doesn't correspond with any of the wedi Fundo size. What can I do?

Fundo shower elements can be shortened with certain limitations. This depends entirely on the slope of the shower element in question. Simply contact your local dealer or field representative for advice. An alternative would be an individual custom-made product (contact the project department: Project@wedi.de)

Can I connect the wedi Fundo shower element myself as a tiler, or does this have to be done by another specialist?

The wedi Fundo shower elements may be installed by you as a tiler. Please ensure that everything is connected correctly and complies with the applicable standards.

Can I also shorten channel covers as needed?

The channel covers are tailored-made to the wedi Fundo shower elements. This means that the channel length is not customisable on site. However, we offer bespoke wedi Fundo shower elements in different channel lengths. It's different with our Fundo Flex. Here, the channel on the construction site can be cut as your project requires.

The wedi Fundo series offers two different shower elements for linear drainage that are suitable for any installation situation. All components are perfectly coordinated and the required slope is already integrated.
