Point drainage on suspended timber floors - Fundo Ligno
Floor-level shower systems
In addition to the integrated version, the wedi Fundo Ligno floor element can also be installed on the suspended timber floor. The height-adjusting wedi building boards are also used in this installation prozess, which is just as simple as the previous ones. Here, the joins are sealed with wedi 610.
Step 1
Cut out the timber beam position in the drain pot area and remove the insulating material underneath.
Step 2
Build framework (35 x 35 cm) in the drain area ...

... and check that the drain is secure.
Step 4
Close all the openings as far as the drain pot opening using boards.
Step 7
Fill the recess with earth-moist screed.
Step 9
Prime the entire timber floor.
Step 10
Insert the O-ring into the plastic frame' s groove from above and tighten the screw valve of the shower tray using sealing insert.
Step 11
Apply tile adhesive all over the underside of the shower element.
Step 13
Check the drain position of the wedi Fundo Ligno element and adapt it, if necessary.
Step 14
Weight the element down for 24 hours.
Step 16
Bring the drain frame to the height of the top tile edge and secure in the bed of adhessive.
Step 17
If the tile is thicker than 15 mm, use the ramping element to adjust the height.
Step 18
Tile the element. Insert the shower insert and odour trap.
Step 20
Insert the stainless steel grid. The siphon can be cleaned at any time.
