Project information

Founded in 1850, the Notre-Dame de Scourmont abbey near Chimay is not a hotel in the classical sense, but a place for those who want to share a few days of solitude and the prayer of the monks.

Requirements

The new bathrooms of the abbey were designed to be both simple and modern. In doing so, attention should be paid to a watertight design of the shower areas including the surface design.

Challenge:
The complete bathroom floor consists of a wooden construction. The wedi field service therefore recommended the installation of the wedi Fundo Primo, which is ideally suited for such projects. In combination with the ready-to-install surface wedi Fundo Top on the shower element and wedi Top Wall on the walls, all bathrooms are gradually being completely renovated. This creates a 100% waterproof system solution.
