Wall application for wedi building board

For extremely uneven walls, wedi building boards with a thickness of 20 mm or more are inserted. Regardless of how old or deteriorated the original substrates were, clean and flat walls are created that provide permanent protection from moisture and insulate the room.

Note for wood and metal stud frames

For the processing of plasterboard wedi has building boards with measurements of 12.5 mm x 62.5 cm in the program.

In wet areas, the joints can be sealed with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant. Then the joints have to be reinforced with wedi tools self-adhesive reinforcement tape.

For area A0, joints and penetrations can also be sealed alternatively with wedi tools sealing tape and tile adhesive (e.g. wedi 320).

Then the tiling or the application of plaster takes place.
