Flush-to-floor shower systems

Fundo Riofino, Fundo Riolito and Fundo Riolito Neo by wedi are flush-to-floor shower elements with linear drains. They drain the shower water in a narrow line. The Riolito Execution line drainage is positioned laterally, while the Riofino Execution line drainage is centered. The required gradient is already incorporated in the shower element. The assembly steps described below, shown in the example of Riolito Neo, can be used for all drain systems.

Make a cut-out in the existing or new screed.

If necessary, apply wedi tools® edge insulation strips with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant.

If sound insulation is required, Nonstep Plan can be cut and laid.

For flush-to-floor installation, note the necessary difference between the top edge of the drain flange and the top edge of the recess.

Filling the recess with a bonded leveling compound or earth-moist screed.

Compress properly and pull smoothly to appropriate heights.

Screw on the drain connection with 4 screws on the Fundo Rear. The screws must be hand-tightened.

Apply wedi 320 tile adhesive evenly to the underside of the Fundo Riolito and bond it to the substructure.

Insert the shower element and seal all joints around using a Fundo sealing set. The wedi Fundo Riolito profile is then installed.

Use the included tile edge strips. They ensure the correct clearance when tiling.

Insert the shower insert and two-component odor trap.

Adjust the cover to the appropriate heights using the lock nuts.
