Wall application for wedi building board

If the old substrates in rooms in need of renovation are not load-bearing or only partially load-bearing, wedi tools metal dowels are inserted during processing. For example, blocking surfaces or separation layers often do not provide enough adhesion for a new surface. The high effort required to make these substrates sustainable was usually a very cost-intensive alternative. The wedi building board offers a simple solution when combined with the appropriate system components.

If necessary, prime the substrates before starting processing and level out the cavities.
(Partial) surface compensation is done with wall and floor repair filler.
Apply and align the entire surface of the building boards with wedi 320 Tile Adhesive. Wedi tools cast in metal dowels to fix them. 8 wedi tools metal dowels per building board (5 per sqm). Apply wedi 320 tile adhesive to all building boards and insert wedi tools joint reinforcement tape.
For area A0, impacts and penetrations can alternatively be sealed using wedi tools sealing tape and tile adhesive (e.g. wedi 320).
The minimum insertion depth of the dowel in the load-bearing surface must be 35 mm.
The top layer is then applied.
