wedi building board
A lightweight, waterproof tile backer board that can be used on walls and floors. It helps create a secure base on a wide range of substrates, while also providing thermal insulation. Joints and connections can be sealed quickly using wedi 610 adhesive sealant and wedi Tools sealing tape.
wedi Fundo shower elements
Floor-level shower elements with integrated drainage and a built-in fall, helping water drain away correctly from the start. Used with the right wedi system components, they make shower installation quicker, safer and more consistent. For added comfort, the wedi Nonstep ProS sound insulation mat can help reduce footfall and water impact noise.
wedi Subliner Dry & Flex
A flexible waterproofing and decoupling membrane for renovation work, cracked substrates or areas where movement may be a concern. Its fleece-laminated surface supports strong adhesion, making it a practical choice where fast, secure waterproofing is needed before tiling.
Partition walls without the usual build-up
When the schedule is tight, you need solutions that help you move quickly without adding unnecessary mess or extra trades. wedi building boards can be used to create stable, waterproof partition walls without masonry work or mechanical fixing.
The boards are bonded directly to the floor and adjoining wall using wedi 610 adhesive sealant. Once installed, the partition can be ready for tiling after just one day, helping you keep the job moving.
For added design flexibility, wedi partition walls can be built up to 1.8 m long with fixing only to the floor and wall — with no additional ceiling support required. It gives installers a faster, cleaner way to shape bathroom spaces — without the weight, mess or drying times of traditional construction.
Warmer bathrooms, lower energy use
Interior insulation can reduce energy consumption in bathrooms—and save on costly energy in the long run. The wedi building board, featuring a waterproof XPS core, enables simple and effective interior insulation, whether beneath tiles or other wall and floor coverings. A building board just 20 mm thick can reduce heat loss by more than half, depending on the nature of the exterior wall. For a model bathroom with a floor area of 9.3 square meters and two exterior walls, this means that insulating with the wedi building board can cut energy costs by up to 500 euros per year (based on average energy costs of €0.15/kWh, 2023 figures).
