wedi partition and shower walls are easily and quickly installed
Our building boards and wall elements are lightweight, can be easily cut to size, straightforward to install and tile directly without priming. In comparison to traditional brick partitions, with wedi, you save time and effort on the job site. Here are the specific advantages:
- Our large format Building Boards XL and XXL are up to 1.20 m wide: perfect as freestanding walls, especially because fewer butt joints simplify the installation.
- The Sanwell wall element already has a niche integrated within making it an ideal shower partition - it is available in 2 different sizes and is ready to install then tile.
- As a custom-specific product, the wedi Sanwell shower wall module comes with pre-installed cold and hot water pipes as well as a Hansgrohe iBox – this saves you valuable time.
Seal partition and shower walls
The sealing of the wedi partition and shower walls is easy and safe. Use the wedi 610 adhesive sealant to reliably seal butt joints. With a curing time of only 24 hours, after reinforcing the joints with our self-adhesive Joint reinforcement tape, you can continue working quickly.
When executed correctly, our systems provide long-term protection against moisture ingress. This is crucial, because water ingress is risk #1 in wet rooms. You can find more information about the technical requirements and standards here.
