Sanbath bathroom furniture construction

The simplest way to bring new forms and colors into the bathroom is offered by the design series Sanbath from wedi. wedi Sanbath Wave are ready-to-install bathtubs made of the materials of the wedi building board. Once positioned and connected, the bathtub can be tiled with your chosen surface—completing the installation.

Important notes

Final positioning of the tub taking into account the desired position of the knob. If the rotary knob is to be positioned directly on a wall, the bowden cable must be installed before setting the tub as described in point 9.

The inspection opening can only be closed after tiling the edge of the tub and installation of the bowden cable. The pool walls can then be tiled.

If the fitting is to be mounted on the edge of the tub, a reinforcement plate must be installed first.

Screw on the connection cable and mark it on the outer edge of the rounding.
Use the metal saw to shorten the pipe to the required length.

Check whether the screed is in the balance, if necessary, level the base of the tub with mortar
Cut out the inspection and cut-out for the connection cable routing from the base of the tub
Place the tub on the base in advance and use the access opening to check the wastewater connection (function check). Install HT pipe and elbows for Connection Line
Glue the substructure to the floor and apply adhesive for the bathtub.
Now glue the tub onto the substructure element. Connect the waste water pipe securely (leak check). Close or glue the revision on the base area again
To tile the edge of the tub, the knob must be removed. To do this, first turn the control knob in the inspection opening to the right as far as it will go and push the brass piece out of the socket. Then turn the knob to the left until the bowden cable ball appears. The ball can now be pulled out.
After tiling, install the bowden cable. Insert the plastic thread in the hole, tighten the lock nut and install the bowden cable in the same way as in point 9 (function check). Apply wedi 610 adhesive sealant to the stepped rebate and attch the inspection cover.
A factory-provided installation shaft is included to allow on-site connection of the water supply or the installation of a pan edge valve. The shaft is closed or bonded with the enclosed inspection cover. Tiled tubs. Insert the stainless steel grate and press on the rosette.
