The wedi building board PreLine is a fully prepared building board element for easy installation of hot water heating systems. Factory integrated recesses allow for quick and safe installation of water pipes whilst strong insulation properties of the material itself prevent heat escaping to the ground thus promote a balanced heat distribution across the entire space. Adhesion of the wedi PreLine elements to the screed foor and backflling of the pipe ducts is done very simply with the appropriate tile adhesive (recommendation: wedi 320). It truly is the perfect element for quick and waterproof implementation of underfoor heating systems.
The prefabricated wedi PreLine allows for quick and waterproof implementation of underfloor heating. The water pipes are simply laid in the integrated recesses (recommendation: aluminium PEX Ø16 mm) and backfilled using wedi 320 tile adhesive)

Usage
- Thanks to its special properties, wedi PreLine is very versatile and can be used in refurbishments and renovations of bathrooms, in particular it can be used as a:
- Base element for the installation of hot water heating systems with Ø16 mm pipes.
- Base element for laying tiles, slabs and natural stone floor coverings, using the thin-bed method.
- Waterproof base providing excellent moisture protection.
- Effective and reliable thermal insulation.
- wedi PreLine is approved for indoor applications in rooms at normal temperatures and for floor applications in rooms with loading consistent with living spaces. Rolling loads with high point loading are not permissible.
