The wedi Fundo Ligno Plus Floor Element has been specially developed for inserting into old and new buildings with wooden beamed ceilings. In the integrated execution shown here, the sealing to the adjacent wooden construction is carried out with the wedi Fundo sealing set.

Cut out the layer of wooden beams in the format of the Fundo Ligno Plus and remove the insulation material that loungers underneath.

Then make a mount for the Fundo Ligno Plus elements. For this purpose, wooden strips are screwed to the existing beam construction.

In the area of the drain pot, build a formwork (35 x 35 cm).

With wooden boards, which are screwed onto the slats, the mountings for the Fundo Ligno Plus elements are created.

Check the drainage position of the wedi Fundo Ligno Plus elements and adjust the drainage position if necessary.

Fill the recess with earth-damp screed.

Insert the O-ring into the groove of the plastic frame from above and screw the shower cup screw valve with the main sealing collar.

Full-surface application of wedi 320 Tile Adhesive on the Bottom of the Shower Element.

Commit the elements for 12 hours.

Seal the joints and transitions to the wooden floor with the wedi Fundo sealing set. Recommendation: Complete wooden floor area should be sealed with wedi Dry & Flex.

Raise the drain frame to the top of the tile and fix it in the adhesive bed. If the tile thickness is more than 15 mm, the extension collar is used to adjust the height.
