Shower wall construction wedi Fundo Nautilo and Fundo Nautilo libero design showers

wedi Fundo NAutilo and Fundo Nautilo libero design showers consist of a floor element and the associated partitions. They are made of the base material wedi building board and are equipped with a watertight floor drain (optionally horizontal or vertical), an additional waterproof coating and a predetermined slope. The installation instructions are shown below using the example of Fundo Nautilo Libero.

When installing the floor element, arrange cold and hot water supply lines according to the installation plan.
Apply wedi 610 adhesive sealant in a wave shape into the milled out, into which the individual wall elements are then placed.
The wall elements are connected using tongue-and-groove joints and wedi 610 adhesive and sealant, which is applied inside the groove as well as on both sides of the tongue.
Then install the wall elements one after the other in accordance with the installation instructions.
Flush-mounted fitting: Attach and connect the supply lines to the rear reinforcement plate using spax screws.
Make recesses for fittings, and for the flush-mounted version also for the overhead shower, in the inspection plate ...
... And glue the Board in the step seam area of the wall element and in the bottom area.
Seal the penetrations with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant and suitable wedi tools sealing gaiters.
Apply wedi Tools reinforcement tape to all interior and exterior joints.
Seal the transition between the shower walls and the floor plate inside with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant.
Then, as usual, install the tiling as well as the desired fitting and, if necessary, the shower rod.
Optional increase is possible through the extension collar. Fasten with wedi 610 adhesive sealant and affix with wedi tools joint reinforcement tape.
