Cut and stab-resistant to protect the sealing. wedi cut-resistant tape is used in particular for wall/wall and wall/ floor joints, as well as for expansion and contraction joints in the floor. The robust material prevents damage to the sealing when cutting out elastic sealants, e.g. with a cutter knife. It is particularly easy to use thanks to the self-adhesive strips. With a thickness of just 0.90 mm, the cut resistant tape has little effect on the total installation height and can be perfectly integrated into any wedi sealing system.
wedi Tools cut-resistant tape is made of high-quality zirconium corundum which is applied to a flexible Y polyester mesh carrier material. The tape has a self-adhesive strip for secure fixing.

Usage

Verarbeitung:
The surface must be free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, condensation and loose particles.
The wedi Tools cut-resistant tape is adhered in the sealing tape or sealing corner area, on the fully cured composite sealant, with the self-adhesive strip.
When used with wedi Tools butyl bathtub sealing tape, the cut-resistant tape is placed behind the edge of the bathtub with the help of the self-adhesive tape and applied directly to the butyl sealing tape. It is then sealed with a suitable wedi sealant.
Care should be take during tile laying to ensure that the tiles are laid correctly in relation to the position of the wedi Tools cut-resistant tape in order to optimally protect the sealing.
